In his role as one of California’s leading land use and environmental lawyers, Tim has lectured at national meetings, conferences and conventions of the American Bar Association, the American Institute of Architect, the American Law Institute, the American Planning Association, the National Association of Real Estate Editors, the Practicing Law Institute and the Urban Land Institute, among others. Beginning in 2006, Tim stepped out of his traditional career subject matter, addressing audiences on issues arising from his work as a hospice volunteer and life coach. He has spoken on subjects ranging from finding life’s purpose to giving and receiving forgiveness. He has lectured before the California State Bar Real Estate Section, the California State Bar Trusts & Estates Section, the California Association of Appellate Lawyers, the Urban Land Institute as well as executive gatherings of financial institutions, investment bankers, and other business organizations. His talks are designed to offer new perspectives, allowing listeners to shift away from ineffective patterns of behavior and belief, to open new doors to purpose and meaning in life.
